Starting Hai Lang LNG Power Center project (phase 1)

On October 7, 2021, Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee, Quang Tri Economic Zone Management Board handed the Decision on investment policy and agreement for Hai Lang LNG – Power Center with a capacity of 1500 MW (phase 1) to Vietnamese T&T group and Korean enterprises as Hanwha Energy Joint Stock Company, Korean Power Group (KOSPO), Korean Gas Group (KOGAS). The total investment of phase 1 of the project is 2.3 billion US$ (about 54,000 billion VND), including 60% from Korean side and 40% T&T group.
