Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PVN) informed that In the first 9 months of the year, the Group has exploited the domestic and foreign oil output at a high level: Specifically, PVN achieved an oil exploitation output of 7.85 million tons, exceeding 14.1% of the 9-month plan, equal to 84.6% of the year plan.

On November 2, a mission of the Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI) headed by Mr. Tran Duy Dong, Deputy Minister had a working meeting with the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PVN) on formulating policies for the large state own enterprises. At the meeting, PVN proposed to license it to invest in the offshore renewable energy projects for taking advantage of PVN current resources and infrastructures to contribute to meeting the needs and commitments of Vietnam at COP26.

According to the information from Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PVN), the group has exceeded many plan targets right in January 2020 as: the turnover of the group reached 66,300 billion VND (16.2% over the plan), State budget payment – 8,300 billion VND (17% over the plan), oil and gas exploitation with 8.5 % over the plan, producing 147,300 tons of nitrogenous fertilizer (2.5% over the plan) and 1.2 million tons of gasoline (5.3 % over the plan).
