The Electricity of Vietnam’s Southern Power Corporation (EVNSPC) has reported that it increased investment in key southern provinces of Binh Duong, Dong Nai, Long An, Tay Ninh and Ba Ria-Vung Tau for industrial development in 2018. 

The business conference: “Smart Cities” is the last event in the series of thought leadership events on emerging topics in Vietnam, which are initiated and co-organized by the Vietnamese Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT), the German Embassy in Vietnam, and Siemens. The Prime Minister has approved the financial mechanism of grid development projects in Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh cities with loans from Asian Development Bank (ADB), ASEAN Infrastructure Fund (AIF).

The PetroVietnam Power Corporation (PV Power) aims to produce over 21 billion kWh and earn 29.45 trillion VND (1.31 billion USD) in 2016.

Deputy Prime Minister Tran Hong Ha has just requested the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) to urgently modify and supplement Circular No. 15/2022/TT-BCT dated October 3, 2022, and Decision No. 21/QD-BCT dated January 7, 2023, on the framework of electricity generation prices for the transitional solar and wind power plants.
