Ha Tinh Provincial People's Committee has just issued Decision No. 39/QD-UBND (dated September 18, 2025), approving the investment policy for the Ky Anh Wind Power Plant project. This is the first approval decision, which also stipulates the form of investor selection through an invitation of interest and bidding for land-use projects.

Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính signed Decision No. 1689/QĐ-TTg dated August 6, 2025, to consolidate the members of the Steering Committee for the Construction of the Nuclear Power Plant (the Steering Committee). In recent days, the Electricity Power Trading Company (EVNEPTC), along with representatives from several departments of Vietnam Electricity (EVN), has held meetings and discussions with investors of renewable energy projects. These projects have received official acceptance test results from competent state agencies (CCA) after their recognized commercial operation date (COD).

On the afternoon of February 24, 2025, within the framework of a working trip to Korea, Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien had a working session with leaders of several Korean enterprises including Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) and KEPCO E&C, KEPCO Nuclear Fuel, Doosan Enerbility to promote nuclear power cooperation between Vietnam and Korea.

On the morning of February 17, 2025, continuing the 9th Session of the 15th National Assembly, the National Assembly discussed special mechanisms and policies for investment in the construction of the Ninh Thuan nuclear power project in the hall. Minister of Industry and Trade Nguyen Hong Dien spoke and clarified several issues raised by National Assembly deputies.
