The Covid-19 pandemic has been exerting enormous pressure on health systems worldwide in general and Quang Ngai province. To contribute to sharing that burden of the health sector in the province, Doosan Vina in collaboration with Chung Ang University, Korea (CAU) and Community Chest of Korea has donated two medical equipment packages worth nearly 1.7 billion VND for two major hospitals of Quang Ngai province including Quang Ngai Provincial General Hospital, and Hospital for Women and Children.

Recently, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam, the director of Goldwind Vietnam, Mr. Ngo Tien Dat and a representative of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam handed over and presented medical supplies serving the prevention of Covid 19 pandemic.

As part of the policy of the corporate social responsibility, on the morning of August 25, 2021, Doosan Vina donated nearly 2.3 billion VND to Quang Ngai province to purchase medical equipment for its third field hospital for treating Covid-19 patients.

Siemens Managing Board decides to form worldwide aid fund to help relieve and combat the coronavirus pandemic. All this funds donated by employees to supplement numerous aid programs already in place at international Siemens units aim to help people stricken by the COVID-19 pandemic worldwide. Siemens' President and CEO lays foundation by donating €1 million.

​On July 28th 2018, in Hanoi, Vietnam General Confederation of Labour (VGCL) has organized a program “Vietnam glory - Impression of works" in order to glory the typical projects, which make great contribution to the construction and protection of motherland from 1975 to now. The 500 kV North- South transmission line is under management, operation by National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT), it has a glory in contributing to the socio-economic development of the country.

From 16th - 18th July, 2018, the working delegation led by Mr. Do Duc Hung - Vice President of EVN’s Labour union went to Ha Giang, Lai Chau Provinces to visit and donate VND 1 billion to support local people of the provinces suffering from recent flood.

Korean Students from Chung Ang University and employees of Doosan Vina work with students, repair homes and clean the beach in a week of CSR in Quang Ngai.

On the afternoon of November 16, at Chung Ang University Hospital, Seoul South Korea Dr. Kim Song Deok - General Director of Chung-Ang University Hospital received Mr. Tran Ngoc Cang - Chairman of Quang Ngai People's Committee and donated $ 18,000 worth of medical equipment to the Quang Ngai Province's health sector.

From the 18thto 22nd of September 2017 Doosan Vina in partnership with Chung Ang University Hospital of Koreacarried out their annual Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) program in Quang Ngai Province.

On November 30th 2016, the Korea Trade Investment Promotion Agency (KOTRA) in collaboration with Vietnam’s Ministry of Planning and Investment (MPI) and Korea’s Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy (MOTIE) hosted “The 6th Social Responsibility Awards”to recognize Korean companies for their outstanding efforts in CSR.

On November 25th, 2016 Doosan Heavy Industries Vietnam, Dung Quat Economic Zone, Binh Thuan Commune, Binh Son District, Quang Ngai, Vietnam: Education is one of the three focuses of Doosan Vina’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs. The company has supported education for the past nine years granting more than $282,000 in scholarships awards to 1,078 Vietnamese students.

On October 27th, 2016 Morning, at Binh Hoa Secondary School, Binh Son district, Quang Ngai Province, the Doosan Vina, South Korean Marine Veterans Association and Quang Ngai’s Department of Labour, War invalids and Social affairs were signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on a social charity program.

As a part of a 2013, six year commitment between Doosan and the General Department of Sport to help train the Vietnamese National Archery Team, Doosan brought six award winning Korean archers to Hanoi for a nine day training camp that began on the 27th November 2015.

On October 9th, 2015, Doosan Vina Human Resource Personnel have visited universities across Vietnam again this October to award 105 scholarships and distribute grants to universities for needed teaching equipment. This year’s total was 5.1B VND.
