Doosan Vina and CAU carry out an annual medical charity program in Quang Ngai

Speaking at the equipment donation ceremony, the Director of Quang Ngai General Hospital Le Van Thieu expressed deep gratitude to Doosan Vina and CAU. He said that the donated equipment today, including one hemodialysis machine, one 6-channel electrocardiograph machine, and one patient monitoring machine, were received and installed at the end of December 2024. These devices, together with those donated in previous years, have greatly contributed to helping the provincial hospital improve the quality of medical examination and treatment for the people across the province.

Representing the provincial leadership, the Director of the Department of Health Pham Minh Duc acknowledged and highly appreciated the active support of Doosan Vina and CAU and hoped that the two companies would continue to accompany the health sector of Quang Ngai province in the coming years.

Those are the foundations for Doosan Vina and CAU to continuously strive to implement and maintain volunteer programs in Quang Ngai province since 2009 and will continue in the following years.

In addition to donating medical equipment to Quang Ngai General Hospital, the charity program lasting from January 13 to 17, 2025 this year also brought a team of 17 doctors from Korea to Vietnam to examine, consult and give free medicine to 1,500 people in 5 communes of Quang Ngai city and Binh Son district.
As scheduled, from January 13 to 15, 2025, the team will provide medical care for 900 citizens of Nghia Ha, Tinh Long and Tinh An communes (Quang Ngai City) at Quang Ngai Provincial General Hospital and on January 16 - 17, 2025, the team will conduct medical examinations for 600 people of Binh My and Binh Khuong communes (Binh Son district) at Binh My Commune Health Facility.
The categories examined include internal medicine, family medicine, orthopedics, pediatrics, and general medicine.
Since its establishment, Doosan Vina has cooperated with Chung Ang University and Chung Ang University Hospital to spend about 5.6 million USD on community charity programs mainly in Quang Ngai province. In which, the donation of medical equipment accounted for 420,000 USD.
