With 476 out of 481 participating National Assembly deputies voting in favor, equivalent to 95.2%, the National Assembly on August 24, 2026, adopted the Resolution on separating the Ninh Thuan Nuclear Power Project into independent projects at the First Extraordinary Session of the 16th National Assembly.
