As Vietnam accelerates the development of wind and solar power under Power Development Plan VIII (PDP8), the national power system is facing rising demands for flexibility, stability, and controllability. In this context, energy storage, particularly battery-based systems, must evolve beyond capacity expansion and be digitalized to become essential infrastructure that ensures safe operation, long-term economic viability, and sustainable integration of renewable energy.

On January 21, 2026, at the headquarters of Vietnam Electricity (EVN), the Forum “Realizing the Objectives of the Politburo’s Resolution 70 on Ensuring National Energy Security” was held with the participation of government authorities, experts, enterprises, and investors from Vietnam and abroad. The Forum was jointly organized by the Electricity Authority of Vietnam and the Vietnam Energy Association. Participating in the Forum, Neovest Nanjing Digital Technology Co., Ltd. (Neovest) made a strong impression through a keynote presentation on energy storage - a component playing an increasingly important role in Vietnam’s energy transition and national energy security.
