In the first 6 months of 2015, the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PVN) already kept the tempo of production and business and completed exceedingly the 6 month plan with a higher rate in comparison with the same period of 2014.

On 25th June in Beijing, Mr. Nguyen Xuan Son, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Petrovietnam and Mr. Yang Hua, Chairman of China National Offshore Oil Corporation (CNOOC) had a meeting on promotion of cooperation between the two Groups.

On June 17, Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PVN) received all shares and executive right from Chevron in Vietnam. Mr. Nguyen Xuan Son, the Chairman of PVN and Ms. Melody Meyer, the President of Asia - Pacific Chevron have signed an agreement for transferring shares and executive right from Chevron to PVN.

The Gazprom headquarters hosted yesterday, May 6, 2015, a working meeting between Alexey Miller, Chairman of the Company’s Management Committee and Nguyen Xuan Son, Chairman of the PetroVietnam National Oil and Gas Group Board of Directors.

At the press conference on December 30, 2014, PetroVietnam (PVN) informed that, in 2014 the Group handed in the State budge a VND 178.1 thousand billion sum over the year plan for VND 37.6 thousand billion, equivalent to US$ 1.77 billion

On July 15, 2014, Vietnam National Oil and Gas Group (PVN) held a ceremony to publish the Decision of the Prime Minister Nguyen Tan Dung on appointment of the chairman of PVN Member Council. Deputy Prime Minister Hoang Trung Hai attended and handed the Decision to Mr Nguyen Xuan Son.
