On the morning of June 2, in Quang Dong commune, Quang Trach district, Quang Binh province, Prime Minister Pham Minh Chinh and the working group inspected the progress and encouraged the construction force of the Quang Trach 1 Thermal Power Plant project. Attending the working group were leaders of relevant ministries, Quang Binh province and Electricity of Vietnam (EVN).

At the conference on investment promotion of Quang Binh province in 2021 held on January 17, Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) Trinh Dinh Dung handed Vietnam Electricity (EVN) the Decision of the Prime Minister on approving the investment policy for Quang Trach 2 Thermal Power Plant Project.

According to the information from Quang Binh Provincial People’s Committee (PPC) Office, Mr. Nguyen Hoai Hoai, the Chairman of Quang Binh PPC has had a working meeting with UPC Renewables Asia I Ltd. Company (UPC) on UPC – Le thuy and UPC – Quang Binh wind power projects in Le Thuy district.

Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) has just decided to add a Dohwa solar power project to the power development planning of Qung Binh province in 2016 – 2025 period with outlook up to 2035. This is a project among the Dohwa renewable energy complex of Dohwa Group (Korea) which has a capacity of 49.5 MW and occupies 75.1 ha area in Ngu Thuy Bac village, Hung Thuy commune, Le Thuy district, Quang Binh province.

A Complex of 650 MW Renewable Energy Project and Resort- Water Park invested by Green Energy Dohwa Company Ltd. (S. Korea) will be developed in Le Thuy district, Quang Binh province.

The Green Energy Company Ltd Dohwa has already designed drawings and expects to select contractors for implementing ground leveling and some other items of Renewable Energy Complex with Solar PV and Biomass power projects in Quang Binh province in the first quarter of 2017.
