On June 11, in Quang Binh, EVN held a working session with the Quang Binh Provincial Party Committee regarding projects at the Quang Trach Power Center. At the meeting, EVN Chairman of the Members’ Council Dang Hoang An proposed that the Provincial People's Committee, the Government Office, and the Ministry of Industry and Trade continue to assign EVN as the investor of the Quang Trach 3 LNG Thermal Power Plant Project.

These three projects as Quang Trach Power Center (including thermal power plants Quang Trach 1 (2x600 MW),Quang Trach 2 (2x600 MW) and Quang Trach Coal Harbor), Bac Ai Hydropower Pump Storage Plant (4x300 MW) and Tri An Hydropower Extended Plant (200 MW) under Electricity of Vietnam (EVN) Investor have been put into urgent ones in order to guarantee security of electricity supply in period after 2020 up.

The EVN Chairman Duong Quan Thanh recently has have a working meeting with Quang Binh provincial leadership on the Projects in Quang Trach Power Center.
