The Government has just issued Decree No. 99/2020/ ND-CP on the regulations to punish the administrative violations in the petroleum relevant activities (searching, exploring, exploiting and trading petroleum). The Decree stipulates the maximal administrative violation in exploring and exploiting oil and gas as 01 billion VND for an individual and 02 billion VND for an organization.

The Prime Minister (PM) has just solved the problems on handling ash and slag in some of BOT coal fired thermal power plants (TPP) as flows: Hai Duong, Vinh Tan 1 projects apply the regulations on slag ground at the time of signing BOT contracts; Nam Dinh 1, Nghi Son 2, Van Phong 1, Vung Ang 2, Vinh Tan 3 and Song Hau 2 projects maintain the areas of slag grounds as approved in the feasibility study reports.
