The Prime Minister has just have an instruction to untie the difficulties and promote the implementation  of the strategy for developing Vietnamese Mechanical Sector.

From April 6th to 8th April 2014, the second meeting term of the Inter-government Committee on Vietnam - UAE cooperation was held in Abu Dhabi Capital and Dubai City of the United Arab Emirates (UAE).

The Government has just issued Decree No. 99/2020/ ND-CP on the regulations to punish the administrative violations in the petroleum relevant activities (searching, exploring, exploiting and trading petroleum). The Decree stipulates the maximal administrative violation in exploring and exploiting oil and gas as 01 billion VND for an individual and 02 billion VND for an organization.

Politburo member and head of the Party Central Committee’s Economic Commission Nguyen Van Binh on January 25 stressed the need to complete institutions for the development of the oil and gas sector.

According to the Electricity of Vietnam (EVN), in 2014 EVN collected a VND1.000 billion divestment  from the activities unrelated to its main business.

During the visit of the President of the Republic of India to Vietnam (from 15-17 Sep.), on September 15 under the witness of Vietnamese President Truong Tan Sang and Indian President Pranab Mukherjee, two sides signed 7 documents on  the cooperation, including petroleum sector.
