According to information from PetroVietnam Exploration Production Corporation (PVEP), the Corporation outstandingly completed production and finance targets assigned by PetroVietnam in the first quarter, and continued to make a large contribution to the state budget.

At the conference on production and business activities in the first quarter of 2018, Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PVN) informed that from the beginning of the year, despite facing a lot of difficulties and challenges, the group and its member units have deployed the production and business tasks in an effective and safe way, and achieved positive results. The most production targets have been exceedingly completed by 4-15% over the plan of the first quarter.

The Viet Nam National Coal and Mineral Industries Holding Corporation (Vinacomin) has urged members to fully exploit market conditions, as coal consumption in the second quarter could face difficulties.

Information from the Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PVN) shows that in the first quarter of 2019, the group basically completed the targets and plans and at the same time continued to perfect the activities on restructuring, improving labor productivity and competitiveness, ensuring the social security and welfare.

Electricity demand in the first quarter, 2016 increased by 13.08%, for 2% higher than planned. The national power system operated safely and stably to sufficiently satisfy the demands of production and business, socio-cultural and living activities of the people in the country.

On October 9th, 2015, Doosan Vina Human Resource Personnel have visited universities across Vietnam again this October to award 105 scholarships and distribute grants to universities for needed teaching equipment.  This year’s total was 5.1B VND.

On April 17, at the frequent meeting of the first quarter, 2014, Vinacomin Deputy Diputy General Nguyen Van Bien said, the leaders of Vinacomin took all the drastic measures to improve the quality of the coal, including coal in stock and the crude one as well. Thereby, the corporation has decreased more than one million tons of the coal in stock coal, this quarter.

On May 18, in Hoa Binh city, the State Capital Management Committee at Enterprise and Electricity of Vietnam (EVN) had a meeting with Hoa Binh Provincial People's Committee to discuss the matters about expanding Hoa Binh Hydropower Plant (HPP).

Vinacomin expects to reach, at least, a 10 million ton coal business in the second quarter of 2015, and strives to achieve the 2015 year production plan of over 50% for coal and over 52% for other products, in the first 6 months.
