The Government has just issued a Decree on the organization and operation charter of Vietnam Coal and Mineral Industries Group (Vinacomin).

The Government has just issued Decree No. 114/2021/ND-CP, dated December 16, 2021, on managing and using the official development assistance (ODA) capital and concessional loans of the foreign donors (replacing Decree 56). Government Decree 114 is an important legal basis for approving investment in O Mon 3 Thermal Power Plant, the key to solve congestion of the Block B - O Mon gas power project chain for soon starting this important gas power source.

Vietnamese Government has issued new Decree on Environmental Protective Fees (EPFs) in mining minerals, according to which the EPF for: crude oil is 100,000 dong/ton, natural and coal gases -  50 dong/m3, associated gas – 35 dong/m3.

The Government has just issued Decree 02/2024/ND-CP on transferring power projects as public assets to the Electricity of Vietnam (EVN). At a July 19 conference on implementing the five-year action plan on energy efficiency in the 2019-2030 period, hosted by the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MoIT) in Lam Dong province, Deputy Minister Hoang Quoc Vuong urged relevant agencies to reduce the rate of energy consumption.

The Government Office has just announced the suggestion of the Deputy Prime Minister (DPM) Trinh Dinh Dung on solving difficulties for Vietnam National Coal - Minerals Industries Holding Corporation Limited (Vinacomin).

The P.M Nguyen Tan Dung issued the Decision No. 1056/QĐ-TTg dated on June 27th 2014 to appoint Board of Management of Vietnam National Coal, Mineral Industries Holding Corporation Limited Mr.  Le Minh Chuan as the Chairman of Vinacomin Member Council.
