Siemens will supply 16 direct-drive wind turbines to the 50 MW wind power plant in  Hokkaido Japan, commercial operation scheduled for 2018 and is the first project with the customer J-Wind Setana.

On the occasion of Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc's official visit to the Kingdom of Denmark and attention to the Partnership Summit on Green Growth and Global Targets until 2030 (P4G), on October 20, in Copenhagen was held a signing ceremony for the agreement on wind power development and wind turbine production between N & G Group (Vietnam) and Vestas Group (Denmark).

The Gemini consortium has signed all construction, operations and financing contracts yesterday with a total construction budget of nearly EUR 3 billion. With more than 20 parties involved 70 percent of this budget will be provided on the basis of project financing – making Gemini the largest-ever project financed offshore wind farm. For the Gemini project Siemens will deliver 150 wind turbines with a capacity of 4 megawatts (MW) and a rotor diameter of 130 meters each.

General Electric Corporation – GE (U.S) has signed a contract for supplying turbines for wind power project in Western Highlands, Vietnam.

The Broadview Wind project with a combined capacity of 324 megawatts that loans from Siemens Financial Services Division. The Project expected to supply about 180,000 average U.S. homes.

Lilama 18 Joint Stock Company signed a contract to install the whole equipment including turbines, generators and auxiliary equipment for Van Phong 1 Thermal Power project with Vietnam Toshiba Plant Systems & Services Corporation (TPSC Co., Ltd). The contract with a total value of over 284 billion VND requires Lilama 18 to complete installing turbines; generators; processing and installing pipes and steel structures; installing insulations and E&I.

The Danish Embassy has just had the 3rd meeting with Hai Phong City People’s Committee (CPC) on implementing an offshore wind power project with a total capacity of 3,900MW and a total investment of about 13.6 billion USD.
