Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners and Google sign power purchase agreement in The Netherlands

Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) recently announced that it has entered a power purchase agreement with Google in the Netherlands. Under the agreement, Google will purchase 250MW of wind power generated at the Zeevonk project to power its Dutch operations for 15 years.

In September 2024, Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP) officially celebrated construction completion of the Zhong Neng offshore wind farm with a total capacity of 300MW. The project was developed by a joint venture between CIP (Denmark) and CSC, a Taiwanese state-owned enterprise and also Taiwan's largest steel producer.

In October 2020, NIRAS was awarded a multi-million US dollar contract to conduct an international standard Environmental and Social Impact Assessment (ESIA) for the 3.5GW La Gan offshore wind farm in Binh Thuan Province of Vietnam. The La Gan project is being jointly developed by Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), Asiapetro and Novasia, and is expected to be one of the first large-scale offshore wind farms in Vietnam.

Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners (CIP), on behalf of New Market Fund I, Asiapetro, Novasia Energy and Binh Thuan Provincial People's Committee (PPC) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on developing La Gan offshore wind power project with a total capacity of up to 3.5 GW. The signing ceremony took place at the Vietnam 2020 High-Level Forum on July 22, 2020, in Hanoi.
