In order to negotiate and agree on the electricity prices of a part of the power project/the whole power project without electricity prices, the Power Trading Company (EVNEPTC) has just sent a written document to request the solar and wind power investors, to check the legal documents of the projects complying with the legal regulations on investment and construction or not. Especially, the evaluating documents of the power system operation units about the absorption ability of the national power system, as well as the ability to release the capacity of the power grid related to the project.

The Electricity of Vietnam has just issued a documentNo. 6302/EVN-TTD, dated October 14, 2021 to the National Load Dispatch Center (EVNLDC) and the Electricity Power Trading Company (EVNEPTC) on recognition of Commercial Operation Date (COD) and Operation for the Wind Power Projects with a requirement for EVNLDC to recognize COD for wind power projects in accordance with the conditions in signed power purchase agreement (PPA).

On October 16, 2019, in Hanoi, the National Power Transmission Corporation (EVNNPT) and the Electricity Trading Company (EVNEPTC) signed the Contract on power transmission service for 2019-2023 period with the price of electricity transmission in 2019 as 101.3 VND/kWh, down 9.58 VND/kWh in comparison with the price in 2018.
