Electricity transmission price 'in 2019 is reduced by 9.58 VND / kWh

General Director of EVNNPT and Director of EVNEPTC sign the Contract on Power Transmission Service for 2019-2023 period.

The contract including 13 Clauses and 3 Appendices, effective from January 1, 2019 to December 31, 2023. The power transmission price often is adjusted annually according to the decision of the Ministry of Industry and Trade and Electricity of Vietnam, of which the transmission price in 2019 is 101.3 VND / kWh.

After terming the contract in the previous period (2016-2018) at December 31, 2018, EVNNPT and EPTC already actively negotiated the contents of the new contract suitable to the actual situation, which was approved by Electricity of Vietnam in Document No. 4725/EVN-TCKT dated September 4, 2019.

According to Mr. Nguyen Tuan Tung - General Director of EVNNPT, the electricity demand for the national socio-economic development increases year by year,  leading to increase of the  electricity transmission output.   For example: in 2018 electricity transmission output was 184.42 billion kWh, increasing 11.03 compared to that in 2017, and in 2019 the electricity transmission output is planned by 203.2 billion kWh with the growth rate of 10.3% compared to 2018.
