Proposing to abrogate and modify a number of Government decisions on wind and SPPs and electricity prices

 - The Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) has just sent a document to the Ministry of Justice requesting the review the effectiveness of legal documents of the Government and the Prime Minister.

Accordingly, the MOIT proposed to abrogate and modify, supplement a number of decisions of the Prime Minister related to the mechanism to support and encourage the development of wind and solar power projects and the electricity retail tariff structure, mechanism for adjusting the average retail electricity price.

MOIT proposes to abrogate, modify and supplement a number of decisions of the Prime Minister (PM) as follows:

1/ Decision No. 37/2011/QD-TTg, dated June 2011 of the PM on the mechanism to support developing the wind power projects in Vietnam.

2/ Decision No. 39/2018/QD-TTg dated September 10, 2018 of the PM for modifying, supplementing a number of articles of the Prime Minister's Decision No. 37/2011/QD-TTg dated June 29, 2011 of the Government PM on the mechanism to support developing the wind power projects in Vietnam.

3/ Decision No. 13/2020/QD-TTg dated April 6, 2020 of the PM on the mechanism to encourage developing the solar power projects in Vietnam.

4/ Decision No. 28/2014/QD-TTg dated April 7, 2014 of the PM on regulating the electricity retail tariff structure.

5/ Decision No. 24/2017/QD-TTg dated June 30, 2017 of the PM on regulating the mechanism for modifying the average retail electricity price level.
