With the agreement of Ha Tinh Provincial People’s Committee, Hoanh Son Group and Eab New Energy company (Germany) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) on the cooperation to develop a solar power project in Cam Hoa commune, Cam Xuyen district, Ha Tinh province.

Over the past 170 years of development, Germany’s Siemens Group has been continuously improving energy efficiency. Dr. Pham Thai Lai, President and CEO of Siemens Vietnam, spoke with Vietnam Energy Review about how the firm can become the world’s first major industrial company to achieve a net-zero carbon footprint by 2030, and contribute to Vietnam’s sustainable energy mix and greenhouse gas emission reduction.

Trung Nam Construction Investment Joint Stock Company (Trung Nam Group) and Trung Nam Wind Power Joint Stock Company have signed EPC contract for wind power project in Ninh Thuan province. The EPC package for construction and installation of the project also has been signed. The equipment suppliers for the project are Green Comos (India) and ENERCON Group (Germany).

Germany committed to finance Vietnam EUR 350 million for implementing Project “Power grid Efficiency into medium and small cities”. At the seminar on the link of Vietnam - Germany wind power partners in Hanoi on May 18, 2016, it was informed that Germany will give financial support for three projects on Vietnam-Germany cooperation in studying wind power development in Vietnam, selected from the “Support to expand the scale of wind power” program.

Duc Long Gia Lai Group and Merica Group (Germany) have signed a cooperation project on supplying electricity for Con Dao Island.
