Electricity of Vietnam (EVN) informed: Recently, there a number of power grid projects for releasing power of solar and wind projects was completed over progress. However, to strengthen the ability of the power grids for releasing power of renewable energy (RE) in Ninh Thuan and Binh Thuan provinces, EVN proposes to supplement a number of power grid projects in these provinces to the power development planning (PDP).

On September 26, 2019, in Phuoc Thai commune, Ninh Phuoc district, Ninh Thuan province, the Power Project Management Board 3 (Electricity of Vietnam) held a groundbreaking ceremony for building Phuoc Thai 1 solar power project.

On April 5, 2019, at the regular meeting for contracting with enterprises in April, Ninh Thuan Provincial People's Committee (PPC) handed over the Decision on investment policy to Nhon Hai solar power project for for Ninh Thuan Licogi 16 Renewable Energy Investment Joint Stock Company.

Ninh Thuan Provincial Department of Planning and Investment has announced invitation to interested investors to register investment in Phuoc Dan wind power project with a capacity of 45 MW and a total investment of over VND 1,400 billion.

Thiên Tan Construction Investment Joint Stock Company and Ninh Thuan Provincial People’s Committee (PPC) just had a working meeting on situation of deploying Thien Tan solar power project in Ninh Thuan province.

Singapore – based renewables developer The Blue Circle and its Vietnamese partner TSV began construction of Dam Nai wind power plant on April 28 in Tan Hai commune, Ninh Hai district, the central province of Ninh Thuan.
