Deputy Prime Minister Vuong Dinh Hue has approved the equitization plan of the Parent Company - PetroVietnam Petroleum Power Corporation (PV Power) by the way to withdraw a part of state capital at the enterprise.

On April 22, 2017, at the exhibition “Pride of Vietnam Intelligence” in Da Nang city, the two products of PetroVietnam (PVN) were honored. Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc attended and awarded Certificates of Merit to these products.

On December 01, 2016, PetroVietnam Exploration Production Corporation (PVEP) officially completed its 2016 production plan assigned by PetroVietnam for 30 days.

Information from PVN showed that in 11 months of 2016, PVN completed investment and put into operation the RC -9 (9-lot) project at 6/6/2016 ahead by schedule by a month and 9 days, Tam Dao 5 self-lifting drilling rig at 12/8/2016, and successfully launched the topside of BK Thien Ung gas exploiting rig at 12/9/2016. Besides, the group also finished installation of generator of the second unit of Thai Binh 2 thermal power plant at 12/4/2016.

Thanh Hoa Provincial People’s Committee (PPC) has agreed the policy for PetroVietnam (PVN) to invest the project of harbor and universal petroleum services in Nghi Son Economic Zone. The project with a total investment level of VND 595 billion occupies about 54.9 ha in Nghi Son commune, Tinh Gia district, Thanh Hoa province.

The Viet Nam Oil and Gas Group (Petro Viet Nam) will build an offshore natural gas processing plant and two 700MW plants in central Quang Nam and neighbouring Quang Ngai provinces.
