PetroVietnam Exploration Production Corporation (PVEP) informed that recently, in Ha Long city, Quang Ninh province, took place the 2023 annual summit between SK Earthon (Korea) and PVEP.

PetroVietnam Exploration Production Corporation (PVEP) informed that in the first 7 months of 2021, the exploitation output of PVEP reached 2.07 million tons of oil equivalence, equal to 104% of the 7 month plan and 62% of the year plan. The production output in 7 months exceeded the plan because of the most of the domestic fields were exploited stably, with the flows higher than expected.

As a part of the program of the official visit to the Russian Federation by Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc (May 20-23), on May 22, in Moscow, PetroVietnam Exploration Production Corporation (PVEP) signed two documents including the Agreement to transfer the Lot 09-2/09 (in Cuu Long sedimentary basin of Vietnam continental shelf) and the Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) between PVEP and Zarubezneft Petroleum Company (Russian Federation).

On the morning of January 25, 2019, as planned, CTC1-WHP exploiting rig in Sturgeon (Ca Tam) Field, Lot 09/3-12 gave First Oil, with an initial production of 1,630 tons/day. On October 09, 2017 in Ho Chi Minh city, Petrovietnam (PVN) and Petrovietnam Exploration Production Corporation (PVEP) signed an agreement on leasing operation for the petroleum fields 01 and 02. This event confirms that the project management ability of PVEP has reached the international level.
