Start to construct Thi Vai LNG Storage Project (phase 1)

At the morning of October 28, 2019, in Thi Vai port, Tan Phuoc Commune, Phu My Town, Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province, Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PVN) and Vietnam Gas Corporation (PV GAS) started to construct Thi Vai LNG Storage Project (phase 1) with a capacity of 1 million tons LNG per year.

Recently, in Ha Noi, under the withness of Vietnamese P.M Nguyen Tan Dung and Dutch P.M Mark Rutte, PetroVietnam Gas Corporation (PV Gas) and Shell (Holland) signed a MoU on cooperation for developing a LNG Import Harbor and Depot in Son My (Binh Thuan Province) and a Framework Agreement on LNG Purchase at LNG Import Harbor Depot in Thi Vai (Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province) Contract for LNG importing harbor storage project Thi Vai ( Ba Ria - Vung Tau province).
