The Vietnam Energy Association (VEA) has just sent a document to the Government, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, and the Electricity Regulatory Authority of Vietnam "The proposal to increase the power purchase agreement for the small hydroelectric plants in 2023".

Never the sustainable energy issue for developing the country has been hotter than recent time. In that context, on June 17, 2022, the Vietnam Energy Association (VEA) held a conference on "Mechanisms, policies, solutions for sustainable energy development in Vietnam" in Hanoi.

The Vietnam Energy Association (VEA) has just sent a document to the Prime Minister, the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT), the Electricity Regulatory Authority (ERA) and Vietnam Electricity (EVN) on “Adjusting peak power generation hours and tariff of avoided costs for small and medium hydropower projects in 2021”.

The Electricity and Renewable Energy Department (Ministry of Industry and Trade - MOIT) has just issued a written document to the Vietnam Energy Association (VEA) on the petition about “Extending the FIT mechanism for the wind and solar power projects” (according to the Paper No. 2040/ PC-VPCP dated December 7, 2020, from the Government Office to the MOIT).

Vietnam Energy Association (VEA) is a voluntary social-professional organization of 330 organizations and individuals operating in the energy sector, or in the fields related to the energy. Vietnam Energy Association (VEA) has just sent to the Prime Minister the official Document No 48/HHNL- VP dated on September 25, 2019 for suggesting a proposal of a mechanism to encourage development of solar power projects in Vietnam.
