On July 21, 2021, the Scientific Council of Vietnam Energy Magazine officially announced the results of voting "Top prestigious power equipment brands in Vietnam”. The Top are electrical equipment brands with prestige trusted by the customers, recognized by the market, practically appraised and evaluated by the experts in quality and in supply and maintenance, guarantee activities.

The Vietnam Energy Magazine's progress update report on key power projects shows that, although there are still difficulties, but almost projects are going on schedule. The latest information on projects at Quang Trach Power Center, O Mon, Dung Quat; hydropower projects (expansion) as Hoa Binh, Ialy, Tri An and Bac Ai pump-storage hydropower, details are as follows:

Vietnam Energy Association (VEA) is a voluntary social-professional organization of 330 organizations and individuals operating in the energy sector, or in the fields related to the energy. Following many effective activities from previous years, in 2019 VEA implemented many active activities, contributing to the overall achievement of Vietnam's energy industry.

The Office of the Government has just issued Document No. 6888 / VPCP-CN dated July 20, 2018 signed by the Minister, Chairman of the Government Office Mai Tien Dung to convey the opinions of the Prime Minister Nguyen Xuan Phuc for thanking the scientists and Vietnam Energy Magazine for "scientific comments and solutions to improve the efficiency of Vietnam oil and gas industry in the coming period".

The cooperation between Power Machines – PM (Russia) and Energy sector of Vietnam has been started for more than half a century by providing generators for Thac Ba hydropower plant, and then for Uong Bi, Pha Lai thermal power plants and Tri An, Hoa Binh hydropower plants. PM has returned to the Vietnamese market since the early 2000s by the participation in developing Yaly, Can Don, Se San 3 hydropower plants and Uong Bi thermal power plant (the second phase extension project). Especially, PM is currently implementing EPC contract for Long Phu 1 thermal power project.
