Doosan Vina was certified by Mitsubishi Heavy Industries Environmental & Chemical Engineering Co., Ltd. (MHIEC), Japan as the best supplier after completing the manufacture and supply of Waste-to-Energy (WtE) boiler pressure parts and made a great contribution to quality assurance and project schedule for the WtE power plant in Fushimi, (Kyoto).

Doosan recently appointed Mr. Jeong Young Chil to be the new Chief Executive Officer and General Director (CEO & GD) of its Vietnamese’s base - Doosan Vina - since January 14th 2019.

October 31st 2013, Dung Quat, Quang Ngai, Vietnam: For the sixth consecutive year Doosan Vina has awarded scholarships at universities across Vietnam. The 109 recipients are students at nine Vietnamese universities.

The years of 2020 and 2021 are the difficult and challenging years for businesses around the world including Doosan Vina because of negatively impact from COVID-19 epidemic. With the efforts and unanimity of all employees as well as the attention and support of the central and local authorities, Doosan Vina firmly overcomes and maintains production stability.

Doosan Vina recently became one of sixty-eight enterprises in the country certified by the Authorized Economic Operator (AEO) certificate, that was issued by the General Department of Vietnam Customs. The certificate came into effect on March 20th, 2019 and it will be reviewed for renewal every three years.

January 13th, 2014, Dung Quat Economic Zone, Quang Ngai, Vietnam: To begin 2014 Doosan Vina’s Heat Recovery Steam Generator (HRSG) business unit got the company’s 2014 export schedule off to a grand start with a shipment of earth friendly HRSG components for the Intergent thermal Power Plant in San Luis Potosi, Mexico. The shipment weighed 1,418 tons.

Doosan Heavy Industries Vietnam has just exported 12 modules forming the waste heat recovery equipment to the Ruwais Refinery. These modules will be combined to become a waste heat recovery equipment that helps the Ruwais Refinery in Abu Dhabi save fuels and improve its operational efficiency.  

On July 4, 2016, at Doosan Heavy Industries Vietnam, Dung Quat Economic Zone, Binh Thuan Commune, Binh Son District, Quang Ngai, Vietnam, Doosan Vina held a contract signing ceremony with Korrea's nuclear power plant to produce nuclear power equipment of the 1,400 MW Shin Kori units 5 & 6  NPP Project. The history marks the beginning of a new era in Vietnam and signifies the nation’s growing stature as an industrialized nation.

March 04, 2014, Doosan Industrial Complex, Dung Quat Economic Zone, Binh Thuan Commune, Binh Son District, Quang Ngai, Vietnam: Doosan Vina (Doosan Heavy Industries Vietnam Co., Ltd located in Quang Ngai Province, Vietnam) released a statement that they have received and are the first company in South-East Asia to obtain and be officially certified by ASME as a supplier of nuclear products.

Nearly fourty months since the BMCTPL RMQC 12 Units contract was signed on January 28, 2016 with Bharat Mumbai Container Terminals Private Limited (India) and deployed to produce in April 2016, the project was completed after the fourth batch of three Rail Mounted Quayside Cranes (RMQC) were sucessfully delivered to this strategic customer.

This first of four shipments by Doosan Vina’s Water Division for the Shoaiba- 4 Seawater Reverse Osmosis (SWRO) desalination project departed from Doosan Vina’s port on July 19th, 2018 and and depending on weather conditions is expected to reach its destination in about three weeks. Shoaiba-4 is a development of The Saline Water Conversion Corporation of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and is located 50 miles south of Jeddah City on the Red Sea. 

Korean Students from Chung Ang University and employees of Doosan Vina work with students, repair homes and clean the beach in a week of CSR in Quang Ngai.

On October 27th, 2016 Morning, at Binh Hoa Secondary School, Binh Son district, Quang Ngai Province, the Doosan Vina, South Korean Marine Veterans Association and Quang Ngai’s Department of Labour, War invalids and Social affairs were signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) on a social charity program.

On November 25th, 2016 Doosan Heavy Industries Vietnam, Dung Quat Economic Zone, Binh Thuan Commune, Binh Son District, Quang Ngai, Vietnam:  Education is one of the three focuses of Doosan Vina’s Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) programs. The company has supported education for the past nine years granting more than $282,000 in scholarships awards to 1,078 Vietnamese students.
