At July 10, 2018, Mr. Tran Sy Thanh - Member of Communist Party Central Committee, Deputy Head of Central Economic Committee, Secretary of Party Committee and Chairman of Member Council of PetroVietnam (PVN) and Mr. Alexey Miller – Chairman of Russian Gazprom had a working meeting in Moscow, the capital of Russian Federation.

Recently, in Moscow , Gazprom CEOMr. Alexey Miller and PVN CEO Mr. Nguyen Vu Truong Son had a working meeting on bilateral cooperation in petroleum exploitation in Vietnam and Russia as well as the joining perspective cooperation in gas power development and LNG transportation means.

The Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PVN) informed: during attending the 9th Saint Petersburg International Gas Forum (SPIGF), in the Russian Federation, PVN President Tran Sy Thanh had a meeting with the leaders of Gazprom Group to discuss promoting the existing cooperation between Gazprom and PVN, and developing projects in power generation and liquefied natural gas (LNG) production.

In the afternoon of September 19, Vietnam Petroleum Group (Petrolimex) and Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PVN) have held a signing ceremony of a comprehensive cooperation agreement.

Vietnam Oil and Gas Group (PVN) and Malaysia National Petroleum Corporation (Petronas) have just signed a Memorandum of Cooperation (MoC).
