Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) has issued Decision No 5107/QD-BCT on regulating the framework of electricity prices from thermal and hydrological power plants in 2017, according to which, the ceiling price level (without VAT) of coal-fired thermal plant is calculated by parameters of fuel used for power generation and the ceiling price level (without Royalties, forest environmental service fees and VAT) of hydrological plant is 1070 dong/kWh.
