The new framework on average retail electricity price

In the case of a large change on calculate parameters of the price frame, electricity production and business costs and requirement of the distribution costs that are not calculated to average electricity retail price, the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) in coordination with the Ministry of Finance (MOF) should calculate and adjust the frame of average electricity price for submitting to the Prime Minister to consider and decide.
The Electricity of Vietnam is responsible to monitor and submit MOIT and MOF the large changes in calculation parameters, and the production and business costs not to distribute to the average retail electricity price.
This Decision takes effect from February 3, 2023. Decision No. 34/2017/QD-TTg dated July 25, 2017, of the Prime Minister on stipulation of the framework of average electricity retail price in the 2016-2020 period is invalid from the effective date of this Decision.
