EVN and Vietnam Rubber Industry Group sign cooperation agreement

Speaking at the signing ceremony, Chairman of the Board of Directors of EVN Dang Hoang An affirmed that the cooperative relationship between EVN and VRG has been built and maintained over many years.
The Chairman of the Board of Directors of EVN hopes that in the coming time, the cooperative relationship between the two sides will become increasingly deeper, and concretized through many specific and effective programs. He also strongly supported the renewable energy development orientation of the Vietnam Rubber Industry Group.
On VRG’s side, Chairman of the Board of Directors Tran Cong Kha said: Over the years, EVN has accompanied the development of the rubber industry, providing electricity services to VRG and its member units. The overall results that the Group has achieved over the years include the companionship, support, and responsible contributions of EVN.
"With the signed cooperation agreement, the two sides will be strategic and trustworthy partners; promoting strengths and improving efficiency in the fields of operation, by each side's strategy", the Chairman of the Board of Directors of VRG affirmed and believed.
Some cooperation contents between the two Groups such as: The two sides agreed to support and create favorable conditions for compensation and site clearance to carry out investment in the construction of power lines and transformer stations according to the planning on rubber land. Compensation and site clearance at the locations of transformer stations and foundations of transmission and distribution lines are carried out by the provisions of law.
EVN and VRG also agreed to support and facilitate the implementation of reports to competent authorities for consideration of supplementing and updating the National Power Development Plan for the 2021-2030 period, with a vision to 2050, for renewable energy projects being researched and developed on rubber land, potential pumped-storage hydropower projects; and research cooperation options for creating new power source projects./.
