On November 29, 2018, in Hanoi, under direction of the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT), Vietnam Energy Association (VEA) in cooperation with the Central Economic Committee, Electricity of Vietnam (EVN), Vietnam National Coal – Mineral Industries Holding Corporation (Vinacomin) ad Petrovietnam (PVN) held the international conference on “ Sustainable energy development and environmental protection in Vietnam”.

A sustainable socioeconomic development model with a focus on environmental protection is a long-term strategic objective for the country in the current period, which also requires a positive application of domestic and foreign scientific and technological advancements.

Many of Vietnam National Chemical Group (Vinachem)’s chemical plants continued to invest in improving their wastewater, exhaust and waste collection and treatment systems last year. They paid special attention to choosing less polluting technologies that met Vietnam’s requirements for environmental protection.
