EVN, Hyosung and KEPCO expand cooperation on new power projects in Vietnam

On April 22 in Hanoi, Vietnam Electricity (EVN) and Hyosung Heavy Industries (Republic of Korea) signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) to establish a cooperation framework and promote future investment opportunities. On the same day, EVN President & CEO Nguyen Anh Tuan met with Kim Tae Min, Executive Vice President of Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO), to discuss cooperation in power technologies, energy storage, transmission, and new power development.

On November 18, the signing ceremony of a MOU on cooperation between the Ministry of Industry and Trade of Vietnam (MOIT) and the Korea Electric Power Corporation (KEPCO) took place. The MOU states an agreement on KEPCO to help constructing a model of an energy efficient building in Vietnam.
