In the morning of July 17th, 2014 in Hanoi, Electricity of Vietnam (EVN) held the Loan Agreement signing Ceremony of the Japan International Corporation Bank (JBIC) for Vinh Tan 4 Thermal Power Plant Project.

According to information from Vietnam Machinery Installation Corporation (Lilama), on June 5th in Bac Ninh City was held a signing ceremony on Agreement of Cooperation between 69-1 Lilama Stock Company (Lilama, Vietnam) and Hitachi Plant Construction Company (Hitachi, Japan) in Nuclear Power Plant Construction.

After fifteen months of manufacture, on June 4^th ,2014, at Dung Quat Economic Zone, Quang Ngai Province, Doosan Vina announced that the eighth and final shipment of the first “Made in Vietnam” Supercritical-Once-thru power plant boiler had been loaded and shipped to Kudgi, India.

The Gemini consortium has signed all construction, operations and financing contracts yesterday with a total construction budget of nearly EUR 3 billion. With more than 20 parties involved 70 percent of this budget will be provided on the basis of project financing – making Gemini the largest-ever project financed offshore wind farm. For the Gemini project Siemens will deliver 150 wind turbines with a capacity of 4 megawatts (MW) and a rotor diameter of 130 meters each.
