At PTSC Downstream Port, in Vung Tau City, PetroVietnam Drilling and Well Services Corporation (PV Drilling) carried out a ceremony for restarting and launching PV DRILLING V rig.

Petrovietnam Drilling & Well Services Corporation (PV Drilling - PVD) has just signed six contracts totaling US$ 42 million with TNK Vietnam B.V. Company (TNK Vietnam B.V under the Rosneft Group - Russia). Accordingly, PVD will provide the jack-up PV Drilling VI rig and well technical services for Rosneft's drilling campaign.

According information from PetroVietnam Exploitation and Production – PVEP, the GBRS a Joint Venture Company of PVEP has exploited 10 million barrels of oil at 433a and 416b lots under Bir Seba field in Sahara Desert (Algeria).

On November 26, 2015 at Ho Chi Minh City, PetroVietnam Drilling & Well Services Corporation (PV Drilling) has held ceremonially a celebration of 14 year anniversary (Nov.26.2001 - Nov.26.2015), to mark 14 years of growth and development in confirming brand of pioneer in Vietnam's oil and gas drilling industry.

On November 26, 2015, PV Drilling celebrated its 14th Anniversary that marked another milestone to further solidify the brand name “PV Drilling – Pioneer of Vietnam Drillers.” PV Drilling was honored to welcome esteemed guests from Petrovietnam: Mr. Pham Xuan Canh – Deputy Permanent Secretary of the Party Committee and Member of Petrovietnam’s Council, Mr. Nguyen Hung Dung – Vice President of Petrovietnam, Ms. Nghiem Thuy Lan – Chairwoman of Petrovietnam’s Trade Union and excellent employees from all over PV Drilling representing more than 2,000 employees who are currently working at the company.
