In Hanoi, a working delegation from the Quang Tri Provincial Party Committee and the Quang Tri Provincial People’s Committee, led by Mr. Nguyen Van Phuong - Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, held a meeting with Vietnam Electricity (EVN) to review the progress of power source and grid projects. The meeting also focused on solutions to address challenges related to land clearance, procedures, and investment capital, to ensure a reliable electricity supply for the province’s socio-economic development.

Quang Tri Provincial People's Committee has just sent the Document No 5220/TTr-UBND dated 08/11/2019 to the Ministry of Industry and Trade for appraising and submitting to the competent authority to approve additional Hai Duong - Hai Lang solar power project, (SPP) with a capacity of 80MW to the Power Development Planning (PDP).

Quang Tri provincial people’s committee (PPC) has just issued the policy to invest more than 2,200 billion VND in Gio Thanh 1&2 solar power projects (SPPs) with a capacity of each one as 50 MW and average annual output as 63.58 million kWh.
