On November 10th, in Hanoi, Vietnam Electricity (EVN) and Northeast Corporation signed a cooperation agreement to supply coal for EVN’s thermal power plants. The signing ceremony was attended by Mr. Đỗ Mạnh Khảm, Chairman and General Director of Northeast Corporation (Commander of Military Corps 19), Mr. Đang ng An, Chairman of the Board of Members of EVN, and Mr. Nguyen Anh Tuan, General Director of EVN.

In the first 6 months of 2022, Vietnam Coal and Mineral Industries Group (Vinacomin) has exceeded the set-out plan on coal production and sale for ensuring not to break the coal supply chain for power generation and economic development and to contribute to the national energy security guarantee.
