Vinacomin has just held a conference to sum up the work in the first 6 months, deploy tasks for the last 6 months of 2022 and evaluate staff work.

The report said that in the first 6 months of 2022, Vinacomin produced over 22 million tons of raw coal, reaching 56% of the year plan, up 7% over the same period in 2021.

In particular, Vinacomin directed coal production units to add 1.4 million tons of coal for power generation and market demand. In the first 6 months, 2022 Vinacomin sold 24.6 million tons of coal reaching 57% of the year plan.

Especially, coal for power generation was sold at 18.2 million tons, 52% of the year plan, equal to 99 % in comparison with the same period in 2021; excavating soil and rock reached 78 million m3; digging pits for over 121 thousand meters of excavator furnaces reached over 121 thousand meters, of which the basic construction pits increased by 150% over the same period in 2021; The turnover of Vinacomin reached over VND 81 trillion, equal to 61.6% of the year plan; Paying more than 11 trillion VND to the State budget, up 25% over the same period in 2021; The average salary of the whole Group was over 14 million VND/person-month, an increase of nearly 4% compared to the plan. The activities on mining minerals, power generation, industrial explosives, and mechanicals... were implemented according to plan.

The target for the first 9 months of 2022 as coal sales should reach at least 80% of the year plan, and the output targets of coal, mineral, chemical, and power production will reach 75 - 80% of the 2022 plan.

The whole Group is striving to complete at the highest level of the planned targets in 2022.

Mr. Chuan emphasized that the units continue to improve production and business efficiency, preserve and develop the state capital, closely follow the direction of the Party Committee, the Member Council of Vinacomin and the Party Committee of Quang Ninh province, and strictly keep to disciplines and laws; take advantage of favorable markets, promote production; continue to effectively carry out pandemic prevention and control and successfully complete the plans and tasks in 2022.

TKV General Director Dang Thanh Hai believes that TKV will successfully complete the business plan and tasks in 2022.

Mr. Dang Thanh Hai, Vinacomin's General Director also emphasized the factors that helped Vinacomin successfully complete the production and business plans in the first 6 months of 2022.

Regarding the tasks for the last 6 months of the year, the General Director of the Group requested the units to closely follow the direction of the Party Committee, the Member Council of the Group for directing and controlling production and sale of the products and completing the production and business targets not lower than the plan. With these results and achievements, the Group's General Director believed that Vinacomin will successfully complete and achieve the highest level of production and business targets in 2022.

Previously, Vinacomin acknowledged and valuated the staff work in 2021. Mr. General Director Dang Thanh Hai emphasized that 2021 was a year with many difficulties directly impacting implementing plans and targets of the units and group. But under the leadership, striving and creative direction of the Vinacomin Party Committee and leadership, efforts of the units, Vinacomin overcomes, and successfully carried out a “double goal” for effective pandemic prevention and production and business ensuring a turnover of over 1,400 billion VND, the benefit of 5,367 billion VND and paying 18,638 billion VND to State budget; average salary of 14,6 million VND/person/month and labor productivity increased by 15% in comparison with the plan.

Especially, Vinacomin carried out very well pandemic prevention with injecting 3 doses of anti-pandemic vaccine for 100% of employers and at the same time, Vinacomin supported pandemic prevention works of the Government, Quang Ninh province and the localities.

Mr. Dang Thanh Hai recognized, and valued the cadres of the group in 2021 according to the Vinacomin group regulations and criteria, whereby, 8 persons excellently implemented the target, 36 persons well implemented the target, 18 persons implemented the target and 03 persons did not implement the target.

Speaking at a workshop on evaluating cadres, Mr. Le Xuan Chuan acknowledged appraised and welcomes persons excellently and well implemented 2021 targets.

At this workshop, the group leaders welcomed Mr. Pham Van Mat, former Member of the Member Council, and Mr. Duong Phi Hung, former Head of the Resource Board of Vinacomin, who carried out the target and retied according to regulations.
