Mr. Ngô Hoàng Ngân, Chairman of the Members’ Council of TKV, Chairs Working Session with Representatives of Carbo Automatika (Poland) on Cooperation in Mine Gas Monitoring |
Since 2005, TKV has established a cooperative relationship with Carbo Automatika in the fields of mine gas safety, technology transfer, and human resource training. Over the past 20 years, this partnership has been continuously strengthened and expanded, particularly through the implementation of automated mine gas monitoring systems and safety supervision equipment in mining operations. These efforts have contributed significantly to improving the effectiveness of mine gas safety management, fire and explosion prevention, and overall safety in underground coal mining.
Highly appreciating the outcomes of this long-standing collaboration, Mr. Ngô Hoàng Ngân – Party Secretary and Chairman of the Members’ Council of TKV – expressed his desire for Carbo Automatika and TKV to continue deepening their cooperation in areas such as mine gas safety management and control, prediction of underground water inrushes, and improvement of temperature conditions in underground mines. At the same time, both sides will jointly review and assess the operational performance of the systems and equipment already deployed across various units.
Based on those evaluations, a roadmap will be developed to upgrade current systems and explore the application of new technologies to replace outdated ones. These efforts aim to enhance the effectiveness of gas safety assurance, ventilation, and drainage operations, while also improving working conditions for miners.
In addition, Carbo Automatika and TKV will continue their collaboration in professional training and scientific research.
