In the afternoon of 14th February 2014, PetroVienam Insurance Joint Stock Corporation (PVI) and PetroVietnam Marine Shipyard (PVMS) held a "contract signing ceremony regarding provision of insurance services for Tam Dao 05 jack-up drilling rig project". The ceremony took place at PVI South Office in the presence of Mr. Truong Quoc Lam - PVI General Director and Phan Tu Giang – PVMS General Director.

In context of facing many difficulties and challenges of of oil and gas drilling industry, PetroVietnam Drilling & Well Services Corporation (PV Drilling) continuing to receive the prize "The best Asian Drilling Contractor 2015" from World Finance at the London stock market, the Kingdom Britain recently has continued to assert the brand name value of PV Drilling. This achievement is due to processes of establishment and development in 14 recent years (November 26, 2001 - November 26, 2015) of all staffs of PV Drilling across generations, across the stages.

In Ho Chi Minh City, PV Drilling and UOD partner signed a contract of providing UMW-NAGA 2 and UMW-NAGA 3 jack-up rigs for drilling campaign of Hoang Long JOC.

On August 22, 2016, at the Vietnam-Russia Joint Venture Port, Petroleum Equipment Assembly and Metal Structural JSC (PVC-MS, stocks code: PXS) has successfully launched the under-frame of Tho Trang (White Rabbit) rig 3 invested by Vietnam-Russia joint venture, and implemented by PVC-MS as a Contractor for manufacture and assembly.

On the ground of PVC-MS harbor, PetroVietnam Equipment Assembly and Metal Structrure Joint Stock Company (PVC -MS, stocks code: PXS) has successfully launched the Thai Binh exploiting rig base.

On July 10, in Vung Tau city, PetroVietnam Marine Mechanical Services Single Member Company Ltd  (PTSC M & C) commemorated One million safe working hours and launched the higher layer block of the TGT H5 exploiting rig.

Vietsovpetro informed that at 7:00 am on July 15, 2023, Vietsovpetro opened well R-24, then at 9:06 am on the same day opened well R-66 and welcomed the first commercial oil flow from the RC-8 rig at Dragon (Rong) field.

At the construction site of Vietsovpetro Port, the Vietnam - Russia Joint Venture Vietsovpetro (NDH) has launched the superstructure block of Ca Tam 2 (CTC-2) rig for installation at the Ca Tam field in Lot 09-3/12, in about 160 km southeast of Vung Tau City.

On September 1, 2020, as scheduled, the Construction Enterprise (under Vietsovpetro - the Vietnam - Russia Joint Venture) successfully launched the superstructure of BK-21 Wellhead Rig at Bach Ho (White Tiger) field.

On 13/5/2020, at the manufacturing site, the Enterprise for Constructing, Surveying and Repairing Petroleum Exploitation Projects (Construction Enterprise) has successfully launched the base of BK-21 uninhabited wellhead rig for White Tiger field to VSP-05 barge.
