Launching the under-frame of Tho Trang rig 3

The total weight of the seat of Tho Trang rig 3 is 1,000 tons of the under-frame and 950 tons of the piles.
After 80 days for absolute safe manufacture and assembly, PVC-MS has completed the under-frame of Tho Trang rig 3 with ensuring quality, progress and efficiency. The under-frame has been launched and handed over to the investor for offshore installation.
At the same time, PVC-MS is focusing to construct Topside of Su tu Trang (White Lion) rig which expects to be completed with onshore manufacture and handed over to the Vietnam-Russia Joint Venture in Feb. 2017.
Previously, on August 18,2016, PVC-MS already successfully launched the under-frame of the house rig at Su Tu Trang field.
Su Tu Trang under-frame is a part of the Su Tu Trang development project phase 1 of Cuu Long JOC with PVC-MS as EPC contractor.
The total weight of Su Tu Trang under-frame is over 2000 tons including piles and auxiliary structures. Today, after 12 months of executing the work, PVC-MS has completed the under-frame of Su Tu Trang house rig and relating works, and handed over it to the general contractor for offshore installation on August 23.
