Sao Mai group and Sterling Wilson – an Indian Leading Group for Consulting & Constructing solar power projects have signed the EPC contract for the first phase of Sao Mai solar power project with a total value of US$ 80 million.

On September 23rd, in the Song Luy commune, Bac Binh district, Binh Thuan province, the Binh Thuan Photovoltaic Investment Joint Stock Company held the Ceremony for starting construction of the Song Luy 1 SPP.

Binh Thuan Provincial People's Committee (PPC) has issued the Decision on approving for Phan Lam Energy Company to invest Phan Lam 2 solar power plant with a capacity of 49 MWp and a total investment capital of 1,202 billion VND on an area of 58.8 ha in Phan Lam commune, Bac Binh district, Binh Thuan province. 

The Nippon Sheet Glass (NSG) Group (Japan) recently informed that it will invest around US$ 365 million in expanding solar energy glass in the context of decreasing renewable energy demand in Japan.

The Department of Planning and Investment of Bac Lieu province and Korean SY Group have just signed a MOU on cooperation to develop a large solar power project with a capacity of 300 MW and an investment level of more than 10,240 billion VND (equivalent to US$ 450 million) on an area of 400 ha in Long Dien commune, Dong Hai district.
