Signing EPC Contract for Sao Mai solar power project

According to the EPC contract, Sterling Wilson will be responsible to: design; supply the technological equipment; construct the solar power panels and 22kV overhead power transmission line for connecting the solar project with the local power grid; check solar power equipment efficiency; prepare project operation and implement test operation for 104 MWp of the project. The project expects to be completed for about one year from the date of signing EPC contract.
At the signing ceremony, Sterling Wilson undertook to complete the project with a high quality and aesthetic level.
The Sao Mai project is one of the largest solar power in ASEAN, it has a total capacity of 210 MW, annual average generation of 302 GWh and a total investment level of 10,000 billion VND.
The Sao Mai project is divided to 04 phases including 46 MW in the first phase, 58 MW in the second, 44 MW in the third and 62 MW in the last one.
Previously, in early September, the Sao Mai Group and EVN - Electricity Trading Company signed a PPA with a tariff of 2,086 VND at the electricity delivery point for 20 years from the date of the project commercial operation.
