Da Mi Solar Power Plant with installed capacity of 47.5 MWp was built on the surface of Da Mi hydro power plant at La Ngau commune, Tanh Linh district and Da Mi, La Da communes, Ham Thuan Bac district, Binh Thuan province. Da Nhim - Ham Thuan - Da Mi Hydro Power Joint Stock Company (the Project Owner) has begun researching and implementing investment procedures since 2017 with total cost estimated more than 1.400 billion VND.

Executing gender equity and women development at Da Mi solar power project

Executing commitment as specified at Loan Agreement with ADB to implement Da Mi solar power project, on 31 August 2020, DHD cooperated with Women Union of Ham Thuan Bac district to organize a training course related to gender equity and health care for women and children at Da Mi and La Da communes, Ham Thuan Bac district, Binh Thuan province. There were around 70 participants representation for 50 households, who were impacted by land acquisition to build 110kV transmission lines of Da Mi solar power project, participated in the course.
ADB finances US$ 37 million for a floating solar project on reservoir of Da Mi HPP

On October 2, 2019, in Hanoi, the Asian Development Bank (ADB) signed a loan agreement worth 37 million USD with Da Nhim - Ham Thuan - Da Mi Hydropower Joint Stock Company (DHD) to finance a floating solar power project, with a capacity of 47.5 MWp on the current reservoir of Da Mi Hydropower Plant.
