Hanoi People’s Committee has published the rural electricity development to 2020. According to the plan, Hanoi rural electric network will be continuously developed by  direction of modernization, losses decrease to meet the need of productions and people life, contribute to building a new countryside…

On  Aug.  7th,  2014,  at  the  office  of  Central Power  Corporation    (EVN  CPC),  Da  Nang City  was  held  a  Signing  Ceremony  of MoU    between  the  International  Copper Association  of  Southeast  Asia  (ICASEA), Da  Nang  Centre  for  Energy  saving  and technology  transfer    (DECC)  and  EVN  CPC on  establishing  Technical  Regulations  for connecting Solar PV Systems on the roof of the buildings to the National Electric Network.

According to the World Bank (WB)’s assessment, Vietnam has achieved the highest rural electrification rate in the world as a developing country.

According to Electricity of Vietnam (EVN), up to now, 99.51% (11, 078/11,132) communes in the country have national electricity network.

On March 28, 2022, in Hanoi, Electricity of Vietnam (EVN) and the French Development Agency (AFD) held a ceremony for signing a credit agreement for a preferential loan without a government guarantee valued 80 million Euros for the Southern distribution grid project invested by Southern Electricity Corporation (EVNSPC).

Siemens is helping the people of Lebanon rebuild in the wake of the tragic catastrophe of August 4. The company is quickly providing the stricken population with ultrasound systems and a mobile X-ray unit. In addition, Siemens Energy is offering to deliver and operate two gas turbines with a total electrical capacity of about 80 megawatts (MW) free of charge.
