Recently, in Ha Noi, under the withness of Vietnamese P.M Nguyen Tan Dung and Dutch P.M Mark Rutte, PetroVietnam Gas Corporation (PV Gas) and Shell (Holland) signed a MoU on cooperation for developing a LNG Import Harbor and Depot in Son My (Binh Thuan Province) and a Framework Agreement on LNG Purchase at LNG Import Harbor Depot in Thi Vai (Ba Ria-Vung Tau Province) Contract for LNG importing harbor storage project Thi Vai ( Ba Ria - Vung Tau province).

After nearly 25 years of construction and development, PetroVietnam Gas Joint Stock Corporation (PV Gas) has guaranteed the absolute safety in the manufacturing process. Nikkei Asian Review magazine recently published a list of the top 50 valuable companies in Southeast Asia in 2015. Vietnam Gas Corporation (PV Gas) is one of this top. The Singapore Telecommunications Company with a total capital of $ 47 billion is at the first place of the top.

On 22 September 2021, in New York, representatives of The AES Corporation (NYSE: AES) and Petrovietnam Gas JSC (PV Gas) today exchanged the signed joint venture agreement for the Son My LNG terminal, which will be located in Binh Thuan Province in South-Central Vietnam. The terminal will play an important role in accelerating Vietnam’s energy transition and economic growth.

As the largest liquefied petroleum gas (LPG) warehouse in Vietnam, Vung Tau PV GAS Dock Warehouse (VTDW) is an important link in the Bach Ho and Nam Con Son gas chain, supplying 60% LPG output for Vietnam market per year, maintaining domestic LPG trading market share, playing an important role in production and business tasks, and ensuring national energy security of PV GAS. In August 2021, PV GAS will celebrate its 20th anniversary since putting VTDW into commercial operation.
