PV Gas is one of the top 50 valuable companies in Southeast Asia

 - Nikkei Asian Review magazine recently published a list of the top 50 valuable companies in Southeast Asia in 2015. Vietnam Gas Corporation (PV Gas) is one of this top. The Singapore Telecommunications Company with a total capital of $ 47 billion is at the first place of the top.

PV Gas, a key member unit of PetroVietnam holding the decisive role in Vietnam gas industry with a total capital of $ 9.43 billion and net profits of $ 584 million in the latest fiscal year is at the 48th place in the list.

According to a report of Nikkei Asian Review, PV Gas is a business specializing in gas produce and business with a 70% domestic gas market share.

Previously, in May 2015, PV Gas already fell into the list of Forbes on top large 2,000 enterprises in the world (Global 2000). Another representative of Vietnam in this list was VietinBank.

PV Gas is currently one of 3 largest gas businesses in Southeast Asia ranked after Thailand group-PTT and its  subsidiary-PTTEP.

100 largest companies in Southeast Asia (ASEAN 100) published by Nikkei Asian Review are: 25 in Singapore, 22 -Malaysia, 25- Indonesia, 22 - Philippines, 25 - Thailand and 5 - Vietnam as PV Gas, Vinamilk, VietinBank, FPT and Vingroup.

At the same time with publication of the ASEAN Top 100,  Nikkei Asian Review also provides details on the capitals and profits of the companies in the region. Accordingly, the Southeast Asian companies are in a more and more developing trend, with 44 companies with a capital of over US$10 billion and 24 companies with a profit of over US$1 billion.
