The Chairman of Ca Mau Provincial People's Committee (PPC) has just requested the PetroVietnam Power Corporation (PV Power) as an investor to urgently complete the necessary documents and procedures for Ca Mau PPC as soon as possible to submit to the Ministry of Industry and Trade (MOIT) for considering and additionally approving Ca Mau 3 combined cycle gas turbine (CCGT) project using liquefied natural gas (LNG) in Khanh An Industrial Park, U Minh district into the National Power Development Planning.

Alstom has been awarded a contract by GS Engineering & Construction (GS E&C), a large engineering and construction services company in Korea. Under the contract, Alstom will supply and supervise the installation and commissioning of 10 units of the ECO 110onshore wind turbines with 90m towers, each with an output of 3MW.  When operational, the wind farm will have a production capacity of 30MW.

Only a few months after its sales launch at the EWEA Offshore trade show in Copenhagen, the new Siemens offshore flagship wind turbine of the type SWT-7.0-154 has now been installed as a prototype.

On October 17, 2021, Tra Vinh 1 Trung Nam Wind Power Joint Stock Company - TraVinh1 Trungnam WP (a member of Trung Nam Group) completed the installation of the last turbine of Dong Hai 1 wind power project, in Tra Vinh province.

In the afternoon of November 29, 2019, in Bac Phong and Loi Hai communes, Thuan Bac district, Ninh Thuan province, Trung Nam Investment and Construction Joint Stock Company (Trungnam Group) held a ceremony to put the first turbine with a largest capacity of 4 MW in Vietnam today of Trung Nam wind power project (phase 2) into operation.

(April 17, 2023, Beijing) Recently, Goldwind achieved an important development milestone by exceeding 100GW of global installed capacity through the successful lifting of several wind power projects in Xinjiang, Inner Mongolia, Qinghai, Guangxi, Yunnan, Brazil, the United Arab Emirates, etc. This makes Goldwind the first Chinese WTG manufacturer to reach this milestone. Toshiba Corporation (Japan) has won a contract for supplying the supercritical steam turbine and electric generator capacity of 688 MW for the Extending Duyen Hai 3 TPP.
