To support the investors of solar power projects for promptly enjoying the preferential mechanism of the Government, the Electricity of Vietnam (EVN) directed its member units to maximally carry out activities to support the investors for releasing capacity of solar power projects (SPPs).

On May 18, in Hoa Binh city, the State Capital Management Committee at Enterprise and Electricity of Vietnam (EVN) had a meeting with Hoa Binh Provincial People's Committee to discuss the matters about expanding Hoa Binh Hydropower Plant (HPP).

According to Mr. Vo Quang Lam - Deputy General Director of Electricity of Vietnam (EVN): As of May 30, 2019, there 47 solar power projects, with a capacity of 2,300 MW have been connected to the national power system, and it is expected that in June, there 49 projects with a capacity of about 2,600 MW will be connected.
